I like Sundays. I like them because they are about the most normal day of the week to me. I get up early I master some audio recordings before breakfast. I eat, I pick up Matt, I go to church, I go eat lunch, I go see a movie, I go eat dinner and I spend the rest of the day dorking out on the web. Tapeistry.com is coming along very well. I am actually 2 form pages away from the site being finished and that is when the real fun starts. It will be the first time that I have ever had complete say in the marketing portion of a web project. Sure I have had small parts or have been part of a team or had to have some company sign off on how I do things in the past. But finally for once I will be able to breathe the air that I have always wanted to breathe. For once I can listen to my inner voice as to how things should be done and no one is going to question me but me and god. No more filters, no more hoops of fire to jump through, no more people stealing from me or locking me out from my own projects. No one is around to back stab me no one is here to betray me or nay say me. No more arguments on how things should be done, no more debates on theory or methodology and advanced statistical data gathering techniques. I have never before felt what this was like, and I have never gotten to this point in a project before and had felt a complete plan of action already laid out like I do now. That maybe hard to explain or fathom but I just know what needs to be done and I know how to do it and for once I can move exactly like I feel that I should. Weekends are the best idea ever invented, Saturdays are lazy days of rest, but Sundays late nights are best.

We all get spam mail. Some of us happen to get a lot of it. When you build a few sites and then admin them you tend to get a lot of mail. You get mail from users and from spammers and for every little article submission and from all sorts of places really. Now I happen to get a ton of spam. I think that is because I had a resume up on monster.com a long long time ago and well my name has been given out, traded and sold to every weenie pill maker email list on the planet. However, every once in a while I get a note that does not end up in my spam folder and it makes me curious. I am curious as to how it got past the spam filter into my email box for the most part but then I become curious as to what was inside it to cause it to get past my security. This week I got 2 strange notes.

I got pulled over today. I was not doing anything wrong. I was driving over to visit my mom like I do just about everyday before I go to work. I have to say that cops

Today I was having a fairly good day. I have spent a lot of time working on the new project and it is coming together. I think that I will be able to start alpha testing it soon and I will need some quality people to do some testing.

Everyday this week I have gone and run..no I take that back..running would imply that I am going all out sprinting which I am not doing so I guess I should call it “jogging”. Sure I am slow and fat but I have fast fingers and a good eye for detail like every computer geek should be.

I can’t say that I enjoy visiting hospitals much. I have gone to visit my friend Shauna the last couple weeks and I can not say that I enjoy visiting them any more or less than I had in the past.
Anyway here is a gruesome pic of what can happen to you if your name is Shauna and you happen to get hit by a boat on memorial day weekend. What happens is that you are very lucky that you are still alive and very unlucky that your foot looks like this..

So today I was all jacked up about getting some joomla! installed on the web server. I spent most of the weekend cleaning and clearing off the server of all its archaic projects that I happened to be keeping around for god knows why. Having finished up the house cleaning I was ready to cut my teeth on Joomla! 1.5 today. I had over the last couple months purchased a couple books on joomla! and I had previously set up a site in the old version 1 so I figured that it would be fun to geek out and learn something new.
